Earthquake in Delhi

As we know Delhi, the capital city of India, is bounded by the Indo-Gangetic alluvial plains in the North and East, by Thar desert in the West and by Aravalli hill ranges in the South.
Such as we know that last night we did feel the earthquake in the NCR area also the map shows that Delhi University's north campus, Sarita Vihar, Gita Colony, Shakarpur, Paschim Vihar, and Janakpuri fall under the 'high hazard zone' having the worst category of "very high" risk index for the upcoming earthquake.

On Friday, August 13, 2021. There was no immediate report of any loss of life or property due to the quake which hit at 5:13 pm.

Recently report is after the quake, the Delhi government declared a central emergency, and soon nearly the entire Indian army was assisting in rescue and recovery work.
